Chris told Ryan Seacrest on March 26 that he'd love to take a stab at Taylor Swift's smash hit, allegedly written about Harry Styles. We hope he follows through!
There's no doubt that anything Chris Brown touches turns to gold. So when Chris announced that he's completely infatuated with Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble," we had the same exact thought that Ryan Seacrest did during an interview on On Air With Ryan Seacrest on March 26 — he should cover it!
Chris Brown: Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' Is A Great Song
Following a break, Taylor's song was heard fading into the background, and Chris, 23, said, "I love that song." Ryan suggested he cover it and Chris said, "I would. I would love to cover it."
We love Taylor's version, but we can imagine that Chris' version would blow the roof off of every building in the world! Chris is infamous for his infectious hits, and we have a feeling he'd add his own style and twist to the already successful chart-topping song.
Chris Brown Has Covered Someone Else's Hit Song Before
Chris previously covered Nicki Minaj's hit song "Your Love." While Nicki left more to be desired in her version, Chris served up a fresh slant to the track in his. A simple search on YouTube will give you a chance to compare the two versions!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Chris cover "I Knew You Were Trouble"? And if so, who do you think he'd be singing it about? Sound off below!
