The Bachelor Kiss

Sean takes his shirt off (again) as the competition for his heart gets physical. But which girls flew high this week, and who ate sand?

Jan. 21 was a momentous day, as not only did Barack Obama began his second term as  President of the United States, but Sean Lowe also broke a world record for kissing! Things got physical on The Bachelor, as the ladies competed in a volleyball contest for alone time with the hunky beefcake, while the Texan invited one lucky lass to join him in a kissing contest. Swoon!

'The Bachelor': Kissing, Volleyball A Crazy Person

Sean selected Lesley for a private date, and he took her to the Guinness World Records museum where they attempt to break the world record for longest on-screen kiss. It's so romantic! Except it's not, because Chris Harrison and like a million other people are watching, and there is a timer in the back ground. I'm sure Lesley has been dreaming about a moment like that since she was a little girl. But they succeed in breaking a world record! And after some seriously pressured kissing, Sean takes Lesley for some romantic time on a rooftop, where Lesley gets all vulnerable and admits she used to be a nerd in high school. So complex!

Sean and Lesley sip champagne before making out without breaking any records — so boring —  until streamers fall from the sky. Who knew the Bachelor had such elaborate special effects? Meanwhile the girls at the mansion cheer because they got a date card. Lesley secures herself a rose, while twelve girls prepare themselves for a group date to compete for Sean's heart. Why does Sean invite nearly everyone, but then leave a few girls out?

A Group Date Gets Tense

The girls don their war gear of bikinis and Sean begs them not to break his nose as things get fun on the beach. Chris pops out to announce the catch to the competition: the girls will be divided into two teams, and the winners of the game will get to spend a sexy evening with Sean. And wow the girls are awful! I've seen better volleyball in a tampon commercial, but none the less, the blue team prevail and show their classy side by cracking open a bottle of champagne at the beach. And the red team go home in tears. Jeez, the winning girls would probably have shared the champagne if they just asked!

Kacie, Desiree, Amanda, wedding-dress Lindsay and two other girls whose names probably don't matter get to hang out with Sean at his private abode, and wedding-dress Lindsay makes out with Sean! I would have thought Sean was all kissed out for the day, but I guess copious amounts of tonsil tennis is all part and parcel of being the Bachelor. Desiree gets bitchy and says "I'm not sure if the other girls are definitely here for Sean." Ugh, like we've never heard that before on The Bachelor. Sean then calls Kacie "crazy" for trying to warn him about one of the other girls which was way harsh, although perhaps she should have kept her Southern trap shut.

More champagne is drunk, Kacie stars crying and wedding dress Lindsay gets the rose!

Another Group Date

The bitter Betty's at the mansion get another date card, and AshLee is invited to hang out with Sean. But poop hits the fan when silly Tierra falls down the stairs and hits her head. It's probably karma for lying to Selma and saying her name was on the date card too. And AshLee is pissed that Tierra messed up her date, as Sean says "My first instinct is to take her to the hospital." Sean is so wise. But unsurprisingly Tierra doesn't want to go to the hospital, because she isn't actually hurt. She does nicely delay Sean's next date however. And she question's why she is the villain!

Sean takes AshLee to an amusement park, where they are inspired when they meet two critically ill best friends. Sean and AshLee get to know each other better and slow dance on their private date, and she gets the third rose of the episode.

Elimination Time

Another elimination begins with a cocktail party, as Sean shows what a lush he is and lines the girls up for another rose ceremony. But not before they all desperately try to get five more minutes of Sean's time, and Tierra makes even more enemies by stealing him away from the other girls. And in a game changing moment, Sean took Kacie outside and eliminated her from the competition, as he says that would be better off as friends. Ouch. Taryn and Kristy also got eliminated, as Sean hands out all his roses.

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Sean have eliminated Kacie?
